YouTube Bans Viral Video Of Bakersfield, California Emergency Room Doctors Urging End To Lock Downs4/28/2020 -(This is an update of the FactsAreWelcomeHere.com April 25th, 2020 blogpost due to the extraordinary development of Youtube banning the videos providing this information) On April 22nd, 2020, ABC affiliate Channel 23 in Bakersfield California (Kern County) broadcasted a portion of press conference held by Accelerated Urgent Care owners Dr. Dan Erickson and Dr. Artin Massihi who recommended lifting shelter-in-place orders and explained in detail why they arrived at such a conclusion. Kern County Public Health Services was later questioned about the presentation made by these doctors but the health department's response arguably did little to rebut the COVID-19 facts Dr. Erickson and Dr. Massihi presented. The highly informative press conference in its entirety was uploaded to YouTube on various Youtube channels and had received millions of views. Within hours of Laura Ingraham featuring Dr. Erickson and Dr. Massihi on her April 27th, 2020 show (6:20 mark), YouTube banned the doctors' press conference videos. YouTube is notorious for banning videos containing factual information about which it prefers the public to remain ignorant. Thankfully, alternative video platforms that are capable of bypassing YouTube's censorship of free speech have sprung up so that vital information can still be shared with the public.
